Seven Quick Tips For All Skin Types

With social media platforms these days, there has been a huge flood of insane skin care tips. From baking soda to Elmer’s Glue, the DIY tips and tricks have gotten out of control.

Don’t ever do baking soda or Elmer’s Glue on your face. EVERRRRR…Or lemon juice πŸ‹

You wanna make sure you are doing is cutting down or totally getting rid of soda and sugary drinks. Water is your skin’s bff…like PB&J!

Consistency is key!πŸ—Β You will get the most out of your routine by using them day and night. Yes, both. Yes, no matter what.

Exfoliate!!!! I can’t believe how many people don’t exfoliate. If you don’t want to add another product to your routine you can start using a facial brush 2-3x a week. This is the one I use.

Exfoliators I use: If you have sensitive or dry- normal skin you should try Skin Polish (found under masks). It’s super gentle and it’s also a moisturizing mask! If you have combination- oily skin try Power Start (found under cleansers), it’s what I use and I LOVE it!

Protect yourself! I use One Drop Wonder for my day to day UV protection, but if I am going to be outside for more than a couple hours, I always opt for shade and an hat! I have even been wearing light long sleeved shirts this year.Β

Get your beauty sleep! It’s a real thing ladies. Studies show that it really does age you faster if you don’t get enough sleep.

Don’t sleep in your makeup. It will age you seven times faster, I shouldn’t have to say anymore.

Moisturize! I really cannot explain this enough- even if you have the oiliest skin around, you still need a moisturizer. You need moisturizer in the morning AND at night. You need a moisturizer if you are dry, if you are oily, if you have acne, if you don’t. EVERYONE needs to moisturize!

I prefer Limelife By Alcone for all of my skin care and makeup needs. I have a few lines I really dislike, but skin care is not one size fits all. Find what works for you, and if you don’t know how to do that, message me and I can help!
